Even though principal photography wrapped in early November on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we are still hearing about new cast members that haven't been previously announced. Twitch reports that The Raid 2 stars Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman will appear in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Naturally, the casting hasn't been confirmed by LucasFilm or any of the actors' representatives at this time.

No details were given about the characters that this trio of Indonesian actors will portray in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It seems possible that they could be involved in some fight sequences, given their work on director Gareth Evans' action-packed sequel The Raid 2. Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian starred in both 2012's The Raid: Redemption and last year's The Raid 2 as Rama and Mad Dog/Prakoso, with Cecep Arif Rahman playing a character known simply as The Assassin in The Raid 2.

We didn't see any hand-to-hand fight sequences in the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which was released back in late November, but hopefully we'll get to see more action in the next trailer, and learn more about who these Indonesian actors may be playing.
