(Warning: Do not watch this trailer if you don't want to see any more from the movie. It offers plenty of new moments that might be better saved for your first viewing experience.) Even though we've been hearing since the third and final Star Wars: The Force Awakens domestic trailer dropped that there would be no new footage until the sci-fi sequel arrived in theaters this December, we've gotten a special treat this morning. The Japanese trailer has arrived. And guess what? It has tons of never-before-seen new footage. And some of it is pretty revealing.

The biggest take away from this new trailer is that Rey, played by newcomer Daisy Ridley, has been waiting for her family. Does that mean she was abandoned? Does she know who her parents are? Why has she been left on Jakku. This adds even more weight to the mystery surrounding her parents than before.

The opening moments of the new international Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer offers a different look at Rey as she scavenges through the crashed Star Destroyer. We watch as she introduces herself to the soon-to-be-iconic astro-mech ball droid BB-8. Then, we get to see new footage of Kylo Ren as he ignites his lightsaber, promising Darth Vader that he's going to finish what the Sith Lord started.

We also get to see a cool new shot as a trio of TIE-Fighters fly in at dusk, hovering in front of the Jakku sun. Soon, the Flametroopers are ransacking part of a village, burning it all to the ground. Presumably looking for Rey and her new friend Finn, played by John Boyega. This marks the arrival of Captain Phasma, in scenes that we've seen before. But here, they are given new context. We also get to see Kylo in some kind of control room as he brings his blazing red lightsaber down on an unidentified character.

As the trailer goes on, we see Finn and Rey introduce themselves to each other on the Millennium Falcon. They've clearly already been through some hard times. This is mixed with new footage of the Falcon trying to out maneuver the TIE-Fighters as it flies through the crashed Star Destroyer. We also get to see new footage of Princess Leia and C-3PO.

This latest trailer actually has us asking more questions than giving us answers. What is BB-8 looking at in the distance that blows up? We get a cool new perspective from the side of an X-Wing that demands we see this in IMAX 3D. We see Chewbacca blowing up an Imperial fleet. We see Kylo Ren has captured Rey and is about to lop off her head. Quite simply, this is amazing! As we hear the narrator say, 'Hope is not lost today! It is found!' Watch at your own risk. There's just too much good stuff here. We also have the new international poster that goes with it.
