Star Wars: Episode VII is the planned seventh live-action theatrical installment in the Star Wars film franchise. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film will not be an adaptation of any previous Expanded Universe stories, but will instead have an original story. Some reports claim that the main plot will revolve around the search for a missing Luke Skywalker. A hunt for the Jedi pulls Han Solo and Chewbacca into the action, even though they haven't seen their Jedi pal in over thirty years.
