Fans have learned to pay attention every time Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams posts a photo on his official Bad Robot Twitter account, since they always include some sort of Easter Egg. Yesterday afternoon, the filmmaker took a break during production to send out the following note, regarding the launch of the new Apple Watch, which is set against a very familiar backdrop that Star Wars fans should recognize. Take a look at the image below, then read on for more information.

The backdrop is reminiscent of shots inside the Death Star from the original trilogy, which you can see more clearly in this image below.

Star Wars Death Star

What does this mean? Is J.J. Abrams bringing the iconic Death Star back for Star Wars: Episode VII? We can't be sure for now, but it's worth noting that this lighting pattern was also seen on different Imperial sets in the original Star Wars trilogy, and we already known that the Stormtroopers will be present. It isn't known if the Empire is fully back in power when Star Wars: Episode VII picks up, but this photo does hint that there will be some sort of Empire presence.

John Boyega is rumored to be playing a Stormtrooper seeking redemption, who goes on a journey with Daisy Ridley's character to return the light saber they found to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

In related news, John Boyega revealed on his Instagram account earlier this week that this week's scenes will be set on a "new planet," along with a photo of Pinewood Studios. Of course, we have no clue what planet he is referring to, but take a look at the image below.
