It's tough to decide if this is a SPOILER or just really awesome news! Star Wars: The Force Awakens will bring back two very popular characters from Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. No, this is not a trap! These latest leaked photos show off both Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb. We also get a first look at Heroes alum Greg Grunberg, who is playing an as yet unidentified member of The Resistance, and is an X-Wing fighter pilot.

We aren't positive of the photos' legitimacy, but that's a pretty good Greg Grunberg lookalike and practical effects on the two alien creatures if these are faked. Star Wars News got a hold of the leaked images. Both Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb look like they haven't aged a day in theater years. At this time, it isn't known what they are doing in the story.

A veteran commander, Ackbar led the defense of his oceanic home world, Mon Cala, during the Clone Wars, and the Rebel cruiser assault of the Battle of Endor during the war against the Empire in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. It's possible that this is not Ackbar, but a relative and member of the Mon Calamari. But that idea seems less fun. Nien Nunb is a small, jowled, mouse-eyed native of Sullust, the world that served as the staging area for the Alliance Fleet prior to the Battle of Endor. Nunb was co-pilot to Lando Calrissian aboard the Millennium Falcon during that historic event. So far, we have not heard confirmation that Lando will be in the movie. Nunb is important to the saga, as he helped destroy the second Death Star. Take a look and let us know what you think!
