What would happen if George Lucas got his hands on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer? Shortly after this highly anticipated sneak peek hit the internet, one imaginative Youtube user decided to take it upon himself to find out. While we may never know Lucas' true vision for a sequel to Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, this latest video gives us a pretty good idea what it might look like.

Michael Shanks has released a "George Lucas special edition" version of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage that has an extra added kick. There are plenty of new visuals added. We get to see Anakin Skywalker's often rumored Force Ghost. An updated version of the new Sith lightsaber. And the Tatooine landscape is given a true makeover ala Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope re-release from 1997. There are also a lot more tie fighters this time around...A lot more!

The 'Special Editions' were never well-received amongst fans of the franchise, which makes this unofficial trailer even funnier. It shows just how wrong some of the decisions George Lucas would make later on in his career truly were. And why someone new needed to come in and take over this beloved sci-fi franchise. Take a look at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens as reinvisioned by 'George Lucas'. Who knows, maybe you'll like this version more. Tons of unescessary digital additions ensue!
