It should come as no surprise that Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been voted the most anticipated movie of 2015 by Fandango, who surveyed more than a thousand movie fans during this last week of December. Avengers: Age of Ultron came in second place, which goes to prove that Disney is set to have one heck of a year at the box office. It could possibly be the biggest year at the movies ever.
Robert Downey Jr. and Jennifer Lawrence topped the fan favorite actors who will be appearing in a movie in 2015. While newcomer Daisy Ridley, who plays Tatooine desert rat Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Jamie Dornan, who headlines Fifty Shades of Grey, were voted biggest breakout stars of 2015. About Star Wars topping the list, Fandango Chief Correspondent Dave Karger says:
"It's been a decade since the last installment of the most beloved sci-fi fantasy franchise of all time, and kids of all ages are eagerly anticipating the revitalization of the series next December."
