Back in March, we reported that fans who attend Star Wars Celebration will be the first to check out the new video game Star Wars: Battlefront. Over the past few days, video game publisher Electronic Arts has sent out a number of images through its Instagram page, which, when pieced together, gives us our first look at a Stormtrooper in the upcoming game. EA has not yet announced a release date for the game, but perhaps that will be revealed at the Star Wars Celebration panel, which takes place Friday, April 17 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the Digital Stage. Here's the official description of the panel below, which reveals that the trailer will debut at this event.

"Join the talented team from DICE as they give fans their first look at Star Wars Battlefront and debut the official reveal trailer for this highly anticipated game. Learn how unprecedented access to the Lucasfilm archives and the award-winning Frostbite technology is helping to create an immersive experience that is truly "most impressive". DICE will also show fans how Star Wars Battlefront will give them the chance to live out their epic Star Wars battle fantasies."

The game will likely make its debut at the end of this year, to coincide with the release of LucasFilm's highly-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 18. Microsoft marketing leader Aaron Greenberg did confirm on his Twitter page earlier this week that the game will be available first on XBox One, through EA Access. We also reported earlier this week that over 30 hours of exclusive content will be streamed live from Star Wars Celebration at StarWars.com, so perhaps you will be able to see the Star Wars: Battlefront debut live from your own home.
