Part of Star Wars Celebration's Friday schedule was a panel with Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace star Ray Park, which was live-streamed for fans who couldn't make the trip down to the Anaheim Convention Center. The actor also spoke with IGN, where he revealed that he would love to reprise his role for a Darth Maul stand alone movie. Take a look at what he had to say below.

"I would love to be disciplined, like not eat anything for four months, and be shredded and do the whole tattoo body effect like you see in the comics and the novels. I'd love to do that! If Darth Maul was coming back, he should be topless, tattooed, bigger horns, robotic legs! I would love to do it!"

Of course, a Darth Maul stand alone movie has not been confirmed by Disney and LucasFilm quite yet, and it isn't known if there are plans in the works for such a movie. Even though Darth Maul was killed in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, the character did re-surface in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, voiced by Sam Witwer. It's worth pointing out that no plot details have been given for the second and third spinoff movies, after Rogue One, so it's possible that Darth Maul could be resurrected for one of these movies. The only standalone film planned right now is one about the rebel X-Wing fighters which are on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star, which leads to the events in Return of the Jedi. The movie is called Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One. A teaser trailer was shown over the weekend at the Anaheim Star Wars Celebration. You can see it below.
