There's no doubt about it. Guardians of the Galaxy turned WWE Superstar Dave Bautista into a bonadfide movie star. And it even landed him the coveted role of villain in the next James Bond movie Spectre. He'll follow that with the highly-anticipated Kickboxer reboot. So, where does he want to go from here? Speaking with IMDB, the pro-werstler-turned-actor desperately wants to be in one of the upcoming Star Wars movies. It doesn't matter if it's a spinoff or part of the new trilogy. And he isn't above stepping inside a mask or latex suit. He explains his biggest dream.

"[I want to] be in a freakin Star Wars film!!! Im 0-2 as of right now... Eventually they'll stick me in a Stormtrooper suit just to stop me from bugging them!"

There aren't too many more franchises bigger than the WWE, the Marvel Universe, and James Bond, so it's understandable why the Superstar would want to conquer Star Wars next. Though it is a pretty big goal, it's not beyond the realm of possibility. Star Wars is a universe made up of all types of alien creatures and space heroes. Though with his stocky frame, he might just be too buff to play a Stormtrooper. And a little too short to play a Wookie.

Dave Bautista is 46-years-old, and he grew up as part of the Star Wars generation. Ask anyone his age, and appearing in a Star Wars movie is probably at the top of their bucket list. Lucky for him, he is sitting in a position where this might become a reality. He has the added benefit of being part of the Disney team with his role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. And he will shoot Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 early next year for release in 2017.

It would be easy to say Dave Bautista stole the show as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. The sequel promises to explore more of Drax's backstory. The man's family was killed. And he got his revenge. But helping kill Ronan only curbed his blind rage and hatred. He's still not over the death of his wife and daughter. With Ronan out of the way, Drax will likely go gunning for Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. And it promises to be an epic showdown. While the characters most certainly do have a history in the comics, it's not yet clear if their ultimate battle will come in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, or perhaps their feud will stretch into Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. What ever happens with Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, James Gunn has hinted that we will get to know more about his guarded personality and his former life as a loving husband and doting dad.

If Dave Bautista does managed to wiggle his way into a Star Wars movie he won't be the first famous celebrity to slip into costume for the hugely popular franchise. It's rumored that his Spectre co-star Daniel Craig is playing a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And Simon Pegg is confirmed to be hiding his identy on screen as an as yet unidentified alien. And the role of Drax has certainly acclimated Dave Bautista to wearing latex applications on set. What do you think? Is there a Star Wars character that perfectly suits this massive Hulk of a man? Or should he just stick to Guardians of the Galaxy's side of the cosmic universe?
