Today marks Star Wars Day (May the 4th), and as expected, LucasFilm is unveiling a number of treats for fans across the galaxy. The studio, along with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group, have unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming video game Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which includes new footage of six additional missions that have just been announced. LucasFilm has also revealed that a number of stars from Star Wars: The Force Awakens will return to voice their iconic characters in this game.

Stars such as Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa), Daisy Ridley (Rey), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), John Boyega (Finn), Lupita Nyong'o (Maz Kanata), Max von Sydow (Lor San Tekka), and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) will voice their characters, and you can recognize some of the voices in this trailer courtesy of Youtube. This trailer also offers gameplay footage from six new missions that were announced today, as part of the Star Wars Day festivities. In addition to the trailer, we also have another video with eight minutes of new gameplay footage, along with new photos from the game and details about these new missions.

The first mission, Rathtar Hunting, follows Han Solo and Chewbacca's voyage to capture the ravenous Rathtars. Lor San Tekka's Return uncovers secrets behind Lor San Tekka's journey to the Jakku Village. Poe to the Rescue follows Poe Dameron's daring rescue mission to save Admiral Ackbar. Crimson Corsair explores how the notorious Outer Rim pirate, the Crimson Corsair, foiled the plans of the First Order. Trouble Over Taul follows the events leading up C-3PO's acquisition of his new red arm. And finally, Ottegan Assault reveals a puzzle piece to how the Resistance and the First Order find Lor San Tekka on Jakku.

This new video game immerses fans in the new Star Wars adventure like never before. Players can relive the epic action from the blockbuster film in a way that only LEGO can offer, featuring all of the storylines from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO lens. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that takes players on adventures set in the time leading up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, providing additional insight about the new movie and its characters. Users will be able to play as all of the heroic characters from the movie, including Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and BB-8, as well as Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma, while exploring iconic Star Wars locales, such as Jakku and Starkiller Base, and utilizing a multitude of vehicles along the way. Through the enhanced Multi-Builds system, players must choose from multiple building options - to puzzle solve, or just for fun - all advancing the game in different ways.

The game will also feature new Blaster Battles, where fans can use their surroundings as cover and drive back the relentless First Order. Users will also get to experience the thrill of high-speed, action-packed flight gameplay like never before, including arena-based battles and dogfights in space. Enemy fighters can now build using LEGO bricks to support their fellow Stormtroopers, calling in air support, reinforcements or heavy artillery - taking the fight to the Resistance with the power of LEGO.
