On /star-wars-episode-7-jj-abrams-thank-you-note/Saturday, Star Wars: Episode VII crew member James Rose shared a thank you letter from director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy that was sent to the entire cast and crew for all their hard work over the past year on this highly anticipated sequel. Now comes official word that Star Wars: Episode VII has wrapped principle photography.

Filming on Star Wars: Episode VII began in May of this year, and took J.J. Abrams and his crew to various different locations around the world, including the deserts of Abu Dhabi, the Forest of Dean in England, to the stages of Pinewood and even rocky landscape Skellig Michael in Ireland.

To celebrate a job well done, a lavish party was held this past Saturday, November 1, with the entire gang heading to London's Science Museum. There, many of the film's main cast was seen, including Original Trilogy Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. Simon Pegg was also in attendance, though it has never been confirmed that he is in the movie.

John Boyega has shared some photos and video from the wrap party which include the actor singing Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' alongside co-star Daisy Ridley. There are also photos of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Simon Pegg, which you can check out here:
