Back in June, we reported that Star Wars: Episode VII producers had issued a casting call in the U.K. for seven different roles, although character's identities were not revealed.

Today, we have word that another casting call has gone out in New York City for an "Untitled Studio Feature" from Disney and director J.J. Abrams, which appears to be for three of the seven parts listed in June. That likely indicates Disney has found actors for the other four characters. Take a look at the character descriptions below.

  • [YOUNG MAN] Early 20s. Handsome, but not necessarily heroic. He is witty and smart. Physically fit.
  • [MAN] Late 20s. Physically fit, handsome and confident.
  • [YOUNG WOMAN] Late teens. Physically fit, raw energy, independent and with a great sense of humor.

There is speculation that these characters may be the children of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), although that has not been confirmed.

The other four roles from the June casting call are a male in his 70s with strong opinions, another female in her late teens, a military-type man in his 40s and an intellectual man in his 30s.

One of these days, Disney and LucasFilm will have to announce some cast members. When that day will be is a mystery to us, so stay tuned.
