Star Wars: The Force Awakens is winding down its record-breaking theatrical release, with the box office blockbuster getting ready for its home entertainment debut next month. Fans will be able to purchase Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Digital HD formats and on the Disney Movies Anywhere platform starting April 1, with the Blu-ray and DVD release set to follow on April 5. Today, actress Lupita Nyong'o is celebrating #MazMonday, in honor of her character Maz Kanata, revealing a new preview through her Twitter and Facebook pages. She also debuted the first look at the new Maz Kanata emoji which is available now on the Star Wars App.

The preview showcases footage of Luptia Nyong'o in her motion capture suit portraying Maz Kanata, and how her work on-set translates into the final look for Maz on the big screen. We also see bits of behind-the-scenes footage of the actor working with legendary motion capture artist Andy Serkis, who served as a consultant and also portrayed Supreme Leader Snoke.
