When is the next Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer going to arrive? That's the question on everyone's mind as we reach the midpoint of October. Way back during Comic-Con this past July, director J.J. Abrams promised we'd get new footage sometime this fall. But thus far, we've only seen a short Instagram teaser and an immersive 360 degree video of Jakku. Rumors abound this morning, though. This is all about to change, with the third Force Awakens trailer said to be coming next week.

We've heard it from too many sources to count, so it must be true, right? It is believed that the all-new Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser will drop on October 19. Screen Crush claims to have culled their information from a variety of different people all saying the same thing. The trailer will debut in conjunction with tickets going on pre-sale this Monday.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer #3 will be the final trailer leading up to the sequel's release on December 18. And while there will be TV spots leading into the premiere, expect those to contain mostly footage that has been shown in the three trailers. In fact, you can expect this next teaser to be fairly short, as Disney and Lucasfilm are eager to keep the movie's mysteries a secret until opening night. It is believed that this final trailer will debut in theaters on November 6, playing in front of the latest James Bond adventure Spectre.

It is not yet known what time tickets will go on sale this Monday, October 19. Yesterday, Cinemark accidentally posted an official international promo teasing the pre-sale for international markets. They pulled it a short time later. This is what the translated text reads.

"In the next Monday begins the pre-sale of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at #Cinemark! Run before the Stormtroopers end up with all the tickets."

It is also being widely reported that AMC Theater Managers across the United States and Canada have instructed their staff about how to handle the October 19 pre-sale event. It will surely be madness, as C-3PO might say. Lucasfilm and Disney are expected to make an official announcement about the pre-sale and trailer soon. Some speculate that the studios will release a very short trailer preview on Friday or Sunday. Though, Disney and Lucasfilm have refused to comment at this time. However it shakes out, one thing is for certain. We'll be seeing some new footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens sooner than later.
