When the third and final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer debuted last month, many thought it would be the last new footage we saw before the movie arrived in theaters. Thankfully, they were wrong, since we've seen a new TV trailer and other brief bits of footage in TV spots released over the past few weeks. Today, the official Star Wars Facebook page has unveiled yet another TV spot that is only 30 seconds long, but comes jam-packed with new footage featuring Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), BB-8 and more.

We also get yet another voice over from Lupita Nyong'o's Maz Kanata, who was confirmed by director J.J. Abrams to be the diminutive alien wearing goggles in the poster released last month. Perhaps the most intriguing scene in this footage features one of the First Order Stormtroopers, who reveals a unique weapon while doing battle with Finn, that can apparently block lightsaber attacks. We also get a glimpse of Finn piloting a ship, which appears to be the iconic Millennium Falcon.

Unfortunately, this TV spot doesn't give us our first look at Luke Skylwalker, who hasn't been seen in any of the previously-released footage. There have been rumors that Luke achieved something so powerful with The Force that he put himself into exile, away from his friends and family, for the past 30 years, but, naturally, nothing has been confirmed. Producer Kathleen Kennedy recently revealed that she helped convince J.J. Abrams to come aboard and direct by asking him one simple question: "Who is Luke Skywalker?" Since neither the producer or director have elaborated on what that question really means, it will surely be the one big question fans want an answer to, leading into the December 18 release.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will introduce three new heroes into the Star Wars universe, John Boyega's Finn, Daisy Ridley's Rey and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, along with Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Carrie Fisher are also reprising their iconic roles from the original trilogy, although very little is known about their characters. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens supporting cast includes Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke and Max von Sydow as an unidentified character.

J.J. Abrams directs Star Wars: The Force Awakens from a script he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan. This new TV spot comes with exactly one month left until Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18. Can you believe that this highly-anticipated release is almost here? Check out the latest footage below, and stay tuned for more as the countdown continues towards Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
