Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just four days away! A new TV spot has arrived, and in the lead up to Thursday night previews, Disney and Lucasfilm have decided to show us more from the epic lightsaber battle between AWOL Stormtrooper Finn and Kylo Ren. It's only a few seconds long, but it's new footage. And it's sure to get you pumped for the release later this week.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will introduce three new heroes into the Star Wars universe, John Boyega's Finn, Daisy Ridley's Rey and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, along with Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Carrie Fisher are also reprising their iconic roles from the original trilogy, although very little is known about their characters. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens supporting cast includes Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke and Max von Sydow as an unidentified character. In our interview last week with John Boyega, the actor wouldn't reveal too much about the confrontation between Finn and Kylo Ren. But he does hint that there may be something off about the villain.

"Kylo Ren is basically the biggest Star Wars fans there has ever been. And he is just trying to protect his best interests. He definitely feels like he might be a nerd. One that is slightly misguided. And it feels like he is socially awkward. It does feel like that, too. I would only wear a mask like that if I was a little afraid of people."

Adam Driver is the man behind the mask in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And he decided to not portray Kylo Ren as a villain. He took a decidedly different approach to figuring out who this powerful force is. This is what he had to say in a recent interview.

"When they think of their actions as morally justified, it makes them dangerous and unpredictable. There's no level they won't go to to accomplish what they're after. I never thought of the character as an evil person."

The Star Wars galaxy is a dangerous place. Epic Battles. Remote worlds. Strange creatures. And deadly threats at each turn. A long time ago a group of heroes banded together to save the galaxy from an Evil Empire. A dark new threat promises to destroy everything they've fought for. Now it's time for a new generation of heroes. Rey, a scavenger searching for answers. And Finn, a rogue Stormtrooper looking for something to fight for. They team up with a mysterious droid named BB-8. These three must make a choice. Continue their journey alone. Or work together to defeat the dark side.

J.J. Abrams is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason D. McGatlin serving as executive producers. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be followed by the first spinoff, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, arriving on December 16, 2016. Star Wars: Episode VIII is slated for release on May 26, 2017, with Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie arriving on May 25, 2018 and Star Wars: Episode IX premiering sometime in 2019. Take a look at these new TV spots from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as the countdown to this release winds down.
