Mattel and it's popular selling Hot Wheels are releasing some new cars with a twist! Darth Vader, Deadpool, and Batman are all set to be released in some very fitting and unique concepts just in time for the Comic-Con@Home celebration.

The die-cast series Hot Wheels debut in May 1968 with only 16 cars in the first "Sweet 16" series, Hot Wheels not has over more than 4 billion Hot Wheels cars out in the world. That's more than Detroit's "Big Three" have manufactured, combined, since the start of the auto industry!

Hot Wheels might have started off as something for children to collect but quickly it turned into one of the hottest collectibles for adults. For example a Rodger Dodger with the white-colored interior which was first issued in 1974, is now worth over $3000. Not to mention that even the parts or shells of old Hot Wheels can sell for as little as $10 all the way to $1000.

In 2019, Mattel's Hot Wheels brand generated gross sales amounting to 954.2 million U.S. dollars globally, up from nearly 926 million U.S. dollars the previous year. Now we can add three more to the list.

Mattel revealed these three exclusive cars for the show just recently and if you are a fan of DC, Marvel, and Star Wars... these are for you.

The all new Darth Vader comic book release gives us a new green-themed vehicle based on the Star Wars #1 cover. The red eyes stand out big time because of the green and black design, and it also comes in Star Wars #1 themed packaging. The new vehicle might look slightly like the previous all black one but the details stand out more and the color is way different . Comic books meet Hot wheels... perfect.

Next we have the one and only Deadpool. Now we have seen him before in a Deadpool 2 food truck but this time we have something different. The dead guy comes in a design that only he could get away with, the Deadpool Birthday Scooter. The scooter is the famous one in the Deadpool movies with a Wade Wilson figure riding it. It's special packaging is pretty awesome as well. The packaging also can be used as display case for more bragging rights. After being around for 30 years, he does deserve his own scooter.

Finally we have Batman, who is no stranger to Hot Wheels as he has had plenty over the years. This one is special as it's the 1st Appearance of the Batmobile, which features Batman and Robin in the seats. The packaging is also designed to recreate the first Batmobile's first appearance in the comic book. The detail of the car and the figures inside is spot on and looks like it jumped right off the comic book pages and into your living room or shelf.

All of these special releases are set come out and be available on July 22nd. The price of them range between $15-$25 as far as we can tell. What do you think? Are you a collector and will these be on your list?
