Last week, LucasFilm premiered a clip from the first of four new Star Wars Rebels shorts, before the full short film debuted on Monday. USA Today has a clip from the second short, which focuses on Mandalorian explosives expert Sabine Wren (voiced by Tiya Sircar). Watch as the rebellious Sabine tags a TIE Fighter with the Rebel Alliance logo before she is spotted by a pair of Storm Troopers, then read on for more information, including a familiar character that may be introduced into the series..

As we reported last week, Star Wars Rebels will debut these shorts between 9:29 PM and 9:32 PM on August 18, August 25 and September 1, following new episodes of Gravity Falls on Disney XD. We'll bring you the full short as soon as it comes online, so stay tuned.

When we were first introduced to Tiya Sircar's Sabine Wren back in February, it was revealed that this Mandalorian warrior has an affinity for graffiti artwork, tagging anything she can with the Rebel Alliance logo. While it isn't known exactly how she fits in with the main Rebel team, she turned against the Empire quite early, and she'll be a vital asset to the Rebels.

In related news, Endor Express has discovered that a new book entitled Star Wars Rebels: Head-to-Head has listed Captain Rex as one of the characters in the series, although this RX Series pilot droid has not been previously confirmed by LucasFilm. Take a look at the photo from this new book below, then read on to find out who may voice this character.

Paul Reubens voiced the character on the Star Tours attraction at Disneyland, which opened in 1987, but the droid was later voiced by Dee Bradley Baker in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's worth noting that Paul Reubens has recently worked for Disney XD, voicing Pavel in the network's animated series Tron Uprising.
