Over the weekend, LucasFilm debuted a new clip from the upcoming TV series Star Wars Rebels at WonderCon 2014, ahead of the animated show's highly-anticipated debut sometime this summer. LucasFilm has also released never-before-seen concept art images, including samples from executive producer Dave Filoni's own sketchbook. These showcase different characters, vehicles, and worlds as seen in upcoming episodes. In addition, we have a new featurette with composer Kevin Kiner, where he reveals the challenges involved in recreating the iconic Star Wars theme, along with behind-the-scenes footage from his recording sessions. The series is set between the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, following the formation of the nascent Rebel Alliance as a villain known as The Inquisitor hunts down the remaining Jedi Knights across the galaxy. The show is set to debut with a TV Movie sometime this summer on the Disney Channel, before the series kicks off on Disney XD this fall. Stay tuned to find out when this animated show may debut.
