After winning over fans and critics alike with it's first 12 episodes, Star Wars Rebels is set to debut it's Season 1 finale episode this coming Monday, March 2, titled Fire Across the Galaxy. Disney XD has released a promo for this epic climax to the animated adventure series set in a galaxy far, far away. And it offers a sneak peek at Darth Vader, who returns after his cameo appearance in the special edition of the first episode Spark of Rebellion, once again voiced by original actor James Earl Jones.

Spark of Rebellion will find the team of the Ghost setting off to save Kanan from the hands of the Empire. The appearance of Darth Vader is just one of many nods to the original films this past season, which has also included cameos from everyone's favorite droids R2-D2 and C-3P0. Over the course of the past 12 episodes, we've also seen the return of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian and Frank Oz as Yoda, as well as Grand Moff Tarkin.

Set between the events of Star Wars: Episodes III and IV, the "Star Wars Rebels" story unfolds during a dark time when the evil Galactic Empire is tightening its grip of power on the galaxy. Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet and are ruining the lives of its people. The motley but clever crew of the starship Ghost - cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the "muscle" Zeb, warrior firebrand Sabine, and grumpy old astromech droid Chopper - will face threatening new villains, embark on thrilling adventures and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion. Take a look as it all comes to a close until Star Wars Rebels Season 2 debuts on Disney XD this fall:
