We have our first look at what to expect from the upcoming Star Wars hotel, which will be making its way to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World as part of their Star Wars land expansion. While we don't have any real photos from the hotel yet, Disney Parks has released several bits of concept art that let fans know what they can expect from the Star Wars themed resort. This looks like it will be the closest thing possible to actually escaping for an overnight stay in a galaxy far, far away.

The images reveal what fans will see from the interior of this Star Wars hotel, which will be connected to the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park attraction, which opens sometime next year. The concept art is amazing, as the hotel looks exactly like the inside of a rather fancy ship within the Star Wars universe. And, as we see, all of the windows look out into space, so you really will believe you're in the world of the movies, as opposed to at a theme park. Here's how the resort is being described by Disney Parks.

"This first-of-its-kind resort will combine luxury with complete immersion into an authentic Star Wars story. Guests' journey through space will start when everyone departs together for a multiday Stars Wars adventure by boarding a starship alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during a voyage through the galaxy. At the resort, guests immediately become active citizens of the galaxy and can dress up in the proper attire. Every resort window will also have a view into space. The opportunity for immersion at this resort will also stand out among all Disney resorts around the globe, as it will be seamlessly connected to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, allowing guests a total Star Wars experience."

This will go along with the experience fans will be able to have at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which includes, among other things, the chance to pilot and tour the Millennium Falcon. The theme park extension will also include the Star Wars Cantina, themed food and drinks and familiar characters from the Star Wars universe hanging around. Couple that with being able to stay in what looks to be a truly amazing resort and this could be a dream come true for a great many Star Wars fans around the world.

There are a couple of things to consider. For one, it hasn't been revealed exactly when the Star Wars hotel will open, so don't start making travel plans just yet. Also, the demand for this is going to be through the roof, so it's probably going to be very difficult to get a booking and, even if you do, the park and hotel are likely to be absolutely packed after the attraction opens and that could last quite a while. Plus, we have no idea what this resort is going to cost and, by the looks of things, this may not be the cheapest of experiences for Star Wars fans. Still, it's probably going to be well worth it, based on what we're seeing here. You can check out the concept art, courtesy of the Disney Parks Blog, for yourself below.
