According to Variety, Stephen Dorff will be joining the cast of Born to Be a Star for Sony Pictures.

The screenplay was written by Adam Sandler who is also producing.

The story follows a Midwestern geek (Nick Swardson) who finds out that his parents were well known porn stars. Christina Ricci will be playing Swardson's girlfriend. Dorff will play the role of "Dick Shadow," a renowned porn star.

Allen Covert and Swardson wrote the screenplay. The film starts shooting this week.
