Flight 93 will be a given a high profile DVD release courtesy of MTI Home Video and Sterling Entertainment.

According to Home Media Retailing, this film "a dramatic narrative that tells the story of the brave passengers who thwarted terrorists and whose plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field Sept. 11, 2001" will be available to own on May 2, 2006.

The film originally was broadcast on A&E and delivered the cable channel it's highest ratings ever.

Sterling Entertainment will take care of the "sellthrough markets" while MTI will handle rentals.

"We think they are the right people to work with," said Sterling Entertainment VP of content and business development, Steve Chase.
