The Polar Express: Steven Tyler of the rock band Aerosmith, lends his voice to the Warner Brother production of the Caldecott-winning children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, The Polar Express. Tyler will also play one of Santa Claus’ elfin helpers.

Tom Hank and director by Robert Zemeckis (both of Cast Away and Forrest Gump) reunite to tell the story of a young boy who while up late listening for Santa Claus hears a steam engine train headed for the North Pole. After being invited on board, he embarks on an adventure of self discovery in which he learns the wonders of life never fade for those who believe.

Oscar winner, Sony Pictures Imageworks and visual effects supervisor Ken Ralston, bring the the 165 million dollar computer graphics film to life using live action performances.

Tyler also adds to the soundtrack, which is a collection of innovative seasonal themed songs.

The Polar Express rolls into theaters as well as IMAX screens on November 10th, 2004.
