Following the red band trailer released in February, Universal Pictures has debuted an all-ages theatrical trailer for the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. Original N.W.A. members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre serve as producers on this biopic, with Ice Cube's own son O'Shea Jackson Jr. portraying his father alongside Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E, Corey Antonio Hawkins as Dr. Dre, Aldis Hodge as M.C. Ren and Neil Brown Jr. as DJ Yella. Paul Giamatti also stars as the group's original manager, Jerry Heller, who helped the group revolutionize rap music as we know it.

In the mid-1980s, the streets of Compton, California, were some of the most dangerous in the country. When five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation. Following the meteoric rise and fall of N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton tells the astonishing story of how these young men revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.

In addition to the trailer, Universal Pictures has also released five character posters and new photos from director F. Gary Gray's biopic, which also stars Keith Stanfield as Snoop Dogg and Carra Patterson as Eazy-E's wife Tomica Woods-Wright.
