Set for release on Netflix tomorrow, many of the mysteries of Stranger Things Season 4 remains intact, though we do know that the latest outing for the show will be incredibly epic in scope. The first six episodes will clock in at over an hour, with the seventh episode and finale of the first part of season 4 coming in at a feature-length 1 hour 38 minutes.

But that is just the beginning, as when Stranger Things Season 4 returns for its final two episodes in July, they will clock in at 1 hour 25 minutes before going out with an extended bang in what’s sure to be an intense 2 hours 30 minutes for the ninth and final episode.

While Stranger Things Season 4 feels like the most epic outing for the show so far, it will not be the end, with a fifth and final series already confirmed. Even then, audiences will not have seen the last of Hawkins, with creators The Duffer Brothers recently revealing that they have several spinoffs in mind.

"We do have an idea for a spinoff that we’re super excited about … but we haven’t told anyone the idea yet, much less written it,” the duo revealed. “We think everyone — including Netflix — will be surprised when they hear the concept, because it’s very, very different. But somehow Finn Wolfhard — who is one crazy smart kid — correctly guessed what it was going to be about. But aside from Finn, no one else knows!”

The first part of Stranger Things season 4 set to premiere on Netflix on May 27, 2022, with the second volume due to be released five weeks later on July 1, 2022.
