Production has been under way on Stranger Things Season 2 since early November, with the Season 2 premiere date already set for Halloween, October 31. One of the show's stars, David Harbour, who plays the Hawkins, Indiana sheriff Jim Hopper, recently held an online Q&A where he shed some light on his character, who has a much different journey this season. Here's what the actor had to say about what Hopper faces in Season 2.

"Hop starts season 2 in a completely different place than season 1. He saved Will and has found a renewed interest in life. So his arc for season 2 in my mind becomes more about butting up against the places where his hero fantasy can't take him. The places where that hero complex may force him to make the wrong decisions. It's a satisfying, completely different journey in season 2."

David Harbour held this Q&A on Mogul, where he also teased that he's looking forward to fans seeing the fourth and fifth episodes of Stranger Things Season 2, which will span nine episodes instead of eight. While the actor felt that the fourth and fifth episodes of the first season were rather slow, that is not the case in Season 2. Here's what the actor had to say below.

"Episodes 4 and 5 are pretty epic. Last year I felt they were the slowest of the season and this season 4 and 5 are incredible. The story moves so fast in the middle and the tension is so high. They're killer, but I haven't even seen 8 & 9 yet, and they'll likely be even better."

Speaking of the eighth and ninth episodes, the show's cinematographer Tim Ives shared a new photo from the set, revealing the final two episodes of Stranger Things Season 2 have started filming, which he added makes him, "Super stoked and melancholy at the same time." This Stranger Things Season 2 set photo doesn't feature any cast members, but it does show the woods of this fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. With the last two episodes currently in production, it remains to be seen when we'll get a new trailer for this highly-anticipated season.

This season of Stranger Things will introduce fans to a number of new characters, including a young pair of step-siblings that move to town, Max (Sadie Sink) and Billy (Dacre Montgomery). Max will attract the attention of both Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), which forms a bit of a "love triangle." Billy is said to be this season's "human villain," who drives a black Camaro and enjoys stealing the girlfriends from their boyfriends. There will also be another love triangle of sorts when Winona Ryder's Joyce Byers starts dating another new character, Bob Newby, who runs the local Radio Shack. David Harbour's Jim Hopper reportedly isn't too thrilled with Joyce dating their old high school classmate Bob. While we wait for more on Stranger Things Season 2, take a look at this photo as production continues on the last two episodes of Stranger Things Season 2.
