It's summertime in Hawkins and things look pretty normal. Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) is the focus of the latest clip from Stranger Things season 3 as the show flips the script on a famous 1980s movie scene. The tone is light and comical, which is a pretty far cry from what the season will actually be when it premieres later this summer. Both Billy and Max (Sadie Sink) have been added as fulltime members of the cast for season 3 and they're featured in the latest character posters to promote the upcoming season, along with the rest of the cast.

Billy Hargrove is the lifeguard on duty and all eyes are on him in the new clip from Stranger Things season 3. The clip begins with The Stray Cats' 1981 hit "Rock This Town," and then shifts gears to The Cars' 1978 song "Moving in Stereo." The mothers of Hawkins are at the pool waiting for the lifeguard change and Billy struts out to the song, which is the same song used in the iconic Fast Times at Ridgemont High pool scene starring actress Phoebe Cates.

Billy really catches the eye of Mrs. Wheeler (Cara Buono), who is the mother to Mike and Nancy. It's a pretty funny callback to Fast Times at Ridgemont High and it should get some fans pretty excited for Stranger Things season 3, even though we don't see any of the original gang chilling poolside. Billy definitely looks a lot less menacing this time around and even seems softer with his bad teenage mustache. Are we going to see a nicer and more mellow Billy this time around?

In addition to the Stranger Things 3 clip, Netflix has also released a new set of cast posters. David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Thurman-Hawke as Robin, Jake Busey as Bruce, Francesca Reale as Heather, and Cary Elwes as Mayor Kline. The gang is all here and they're all looking a bit older these days.

While we don't know a whole lot about Billy's Stranger Things season 3 story arc, other than the fact he's a lifeguard, Millie Bobby Brown recently shared some new information about Eleven. While she was able to tease something new for her character, she wasn't able to say much, which makes sense. She says, "Eleven's character evolves greatly. And I can say its spreading fast. And that's all I can tell you." What this means isn't apparent yet, but when something spreads fast in Hawkins, it's not usually such a good thing as we've seen in the previous two seasons of Stranger Things.

Millie Bobby Brown is more than likely referring to character evolution spreading fast in Stranger Things season 3. The characters are all growing up, which means change is inevitable and it's going to be interesting to see how the Duffer Brothers decided to approach this aspect of adolescence in regard to the show. Regardless, we know that things aren't going to be as cheery and lighthearted as the latest season 3 clip boasts. Something big is going to go down in Hawkins again and it's only a matter of time before we get a real tease of what's to come.
