Strangers on a Train, which inspired Throw Momma From The Train and Horrible Bosses, has now inspired a different kind of thriller titled Substitution.

Daniel Barber, the director behind the 2010 thriller Harry Brown, has been hired to helm Substitution for Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment.

The story here centers on a high school student who gets mixed-up in a murder swap with a substitute teacher. Ian Shorr is responsible for the screenplay.
