There have been no shortage of casting rumors this month for Warner Bros.' Suicide Squad, with top-flight actors such as Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie reportedly wanted for this super-villain ensemble. Today, a new report reveals the studio is eyeing British model/singer/actress Cara Delevigne for a role that may be Harley Quinn.

Latino Review reports that Harley Quinn's character was not included in the early drafts of the script, but that may all change since director David Ayer is expected to work on the script himself. We reported earlier this month that the Suicide Squad lineup will be comprised of seven villains, Blockbuster (Mark Desmond), Multiplex (Danton Black), Jaculi, Mindboggler (Leah Wasserman), Captain Boomerang (George Harkness), Vixen (Mari Jiwe McCabe) and Deadshot (Floyd Lawton), but those characters have not been confirmed by Warner Bros. or DC Comics yet.

Cara Delevigne made her feature film debut in director Joe Wright's Anna Karenina, playing Princess Sorokina. She will next be seen in The Face of an Angel and Joe Wright's next offering, Pan. The actress is also being considered for a role in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Interestingly enough, Cara Delevigne posted an illustration of Harley Quinn on her Instagram page earlier this month. Do you think she's right for Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad? Chime in with your thoughts below.
