Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie was at the Sundance Film Festival this past weekend to promote her new film Z for Zachariah, where she offered an update to MTV on her highly-anticipated comic book adaptation Suicide Squad. The actress will play the villainous Harley Quinn, reportedly opening with her character trying to break The Joker (Jared Leto) out of Arkham Asylum. While she wouldn't comment on these reported plot details, she did say that that it's quite intimidating to take on this project.

"Yeah, I guess it's intimidating because there's obviously a lot of people I want to please and a character I have to do justice, but it's a challenge. I'm definitely up for it, and hopefully I don't disappoint."

Production is set to begin this April at Pinewood Studios Toronto, but the actress revealed she is actually shooting a different movie before she films Suicide Squad:

"We haven't gotten too far into it. We're still pretty far off. I'm actually shooting a movie before that. So my focus is kind of on that at the moment. We haven't really gotten into the logistics of everything yet."

Suicide Squad is still looking for a new Rick Flagg after Tom Hardy backed away from the project earlier this month, and Jake Gyllenhaal passed on the role last week. We'll be sure to keep you posted about who the new Rick Flagg will be in Suicide Squad as soon as we have more information.
