Director David Ayer and his Suicide Squad cast are taking a different approach to the upcoming DC Comics adaptation. Instead of keeping everything shrouded in secrecy, they are laying all their cards on the table, and taking fans along for the ride. Shooting is set to start very soon, and so far, we've seen quite a bit as the film comes together in Vancouver, Canada. In terms of Jared Leto's Joker, we've seen him get his hair cut, and we've heard his Joker voice as he continues to get into character while performing on stage with his band 30 Seconds to Mars. Now, he is sharing the first official photo of his Joker evolution, exclaiming 'Transformation begins'!

You can see the image below, which shows the actor's hair has grown out since he first got it styled. He also sports a very pale, bleached face. It is not yet known if he will dye his hair green and sport the traditional Joker white face make-up with red lipstick, but his hairstylist Chase Kusero did tease bright green hair dye when this new hair cut was first revealed. At the time, it was said that Joker's look would be based on the comic book Batman Endgame.

In recent weeks, we've also heard that Jared Leto's villain will look like The Joker from The Dark Knight Returns, wearing a big, broad shouldered suit with bleached skin, no make-up. If that's the case, then this pale faced image may be what we'll eventually see on screen. Jared Leto has stated in the past few weeks that he is eating a lot, working out and bulking up for the role. So, just how big will his broad shoulders actually be? We'll have to wait for the next set image to find out. Since this transformation is just begining, who knows where it goes from here, right?
