There has certainly been no shortage of Suicide Squad set photos these past few weeks. While we've seen plenty of the cast in costume, little is still known about the story. So the latest images are a bit confounding. They show Will Smith as Deadshot flanked by a couple of very creepy creatures who are all armed to the teeth. Is this the work of the Enchantress?

Suicide Squad is entering its 7th week of production in Toronto, Canada. So far we've seen bits and pieces of an action sequence that involves a chopper crashing into two Midway City buses. We've also watched as Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's Joker have had a lovers' spat in the middle of a busy street. These latest photos show off what appear to be very unusual looking monsters who are fully armed.

Based solely on their appearance here, it is hard to determine if they are based on preexisting DC Comics characters. It is speculated that they are the work of Cara Delevingne's goddess witch The Enchantress, a character that has not yet been seen on set. The cast also includes Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), Ray Olubowale, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Common, Alex Meraz, Adam Beach (Slipknot) and Ike Barinholtz. David Ayer is directing Suicide Squad from his own script, with Warner Bros. already setting an August 5, 2016 release date.
