With no more major superhero movies coming out this year, fans are already looking ahead to 2016, which will mark the big screen debut of DC Comics' super-villain team Suicide Squad. The movie hits theaters on August 5, 2016, just a few months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice makes its debut. What makes Suicide Squad unique is that the main characters are all villains, who are brought together by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) to pull off dangerous missions. During Warner Bros' Comic-Con presentation, where the first Suicide Squad trailer debuted, director David Ayer described the movie as "bad vs. evil". Today we have a report from Heroic Hollywood, regarding who this "evil" villain may be. There will be potential SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

This report is unconfirmed, so it may not turn out to be true, but it does reveal some intriguing possibilities. Heroic Hollywood claims that the main villain is none other than Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), who is trying to bring her brother back to life. The Suicide Squad is tasked with stopping her from destroying the world as she goes on her journey. No details were provided for who her brother is, and why this resurrection may end up destroying the world.

You may recall that the first Suicide Squad trailer showed two different sides to Cara Delevingne's character. In one scene, she appears to be a completely normal woman, exploring some sort of cave, but then we later see her with a much different look as Enchantress. The actress confirmed this summer that she has dual roles in Suicide Squad, playing both a "mousy scientist" and a "feral witch."

There was another rumor that surfaced this summer, claiming that one of the Suicide Squad's first missions is to break up a deal between Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and a gang of human traffickers, which involves Enchantress. She is also said to be kept in a secret, basement area of Amanda Waller's (Viola Davis) prison, reserved for "freaks" like her and King Shark (Ray Olubowale). It's possible that all of this is true, and Enchantress ends up breaking out of Waller's prison to go on this journey to find her brother. Enchantress is also said to play a big role in a massive prison riot sequence at the end of the film.

Do you think there is any truth to the latest Suicide Squad rumor? Do you think it makes sense to have Enchantress as the main villain? The character was featured in the official cast photos that surfaced when production got under way, but we never saw her on the set when filming was taking place in Toronto. While that doesn't necessarily make her the villain, it certainly is an intriguing theory to mull over. Consider, in the trailer, she's only ever seen by herself.
