It was earlier revealed that franchise shy Ryan Gosling is being courted for Doctor Strange, Suicide Squad and The Secret Life of Houdini. In that same report, it's mentioned that three other big names are being aggressively sought for the cast of Suicide Squad as well.

While David Ayer was announced as the director weeks ago, Warner Bros. officially confirmed that Suicide Squad is moving forward fast. In fact, it will be the next DC Comics movie released after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will include a number of super villains forced to come together by a shadowy government agency to take on a danger mission.

Warner Bros. is said to have offers out to Will Smith and Margot Robbie, who will be seen together in the coming movie Focus. Also on their want list is Tom Hardy, who has already famously played the DC villain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. Warner Bros. has no comment at this time.

In a report from last week, it was reported that Suicide Squad will focus on seven villains: Blockbuster (Mark Desmond), Multiplex (Danton Black), Jaculi, Mindboggler (Leah Wasserman), Captain Boomerang (George Harkness), Vixen (Mari Jiwe McCabe) and Deadshot (Floyd Lawton). Captain Boomerang, Vixen and Deadshot are set to be the three leads in the movie, but its quite unclear who will play. Vixen is African-American and it would probably cause quite a stir to cast Margot Robbie as that character. It seems like, besides that, who will play which character is anybody's guess.

No one is confirmed to star in the movie yet. What do you think of this possible lineup?
