Warner Bros. is capitalizing on the beloved Valentine's Day holiday today by showcasing a new poster for their superhero adventure Suicide Squad on the film's Twitter page. Now, while Suicide Squad might not be the perfect "date movie," it does have an unusual romance at it's core, showcasing the relationship between Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and The Joker (Jared Leto). This poster doesn't necessarily offer a traditional Valentine's Day message, but it does showcase bizarre, artistic renditions of both Joker and Harley Quinn.

The all-star ensemble cast for Suicide Squad includes Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Karen Fukuhara (Katana) Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), and Jay Hernandez (El Diablo). Created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru for DC Comics in 1959, the Suicide Squad follows a group of super villains tasked by the U.S. Government to pull off a secret mission. The catch is that is will be nearly impossible, and most of them, if not all, will return in body bags. If they make it out alive, they will be rewarded their freedom.

The supporting cast includes a supporting cast that includes Scott Eastwood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Ray Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack and Common. While none of their characters have been confirmed yet, there was a rumor last summer that claimed Scott Eastwood is playing Deathstroke, while Common is reportedly playing the DC Comics character Abel Tarrant, a.k.a. The Tattooed Man. There is also another major character who will appear in this highly-anticipated movie.

We know that Batman v Superman star Ben Affleck will reprise his role as Batman inSuicide Squad. While we still don't know how large his role is in the movie, we have seen him riding on top of The Joker's car in several set videos and photos while production was under way in Toronto. David Ayer directs from his own screenplay, with Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5, 2016, just a few months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25.

Suicide Squad started shooting this past April in Toronto, with production wrapping in August, just a few weeks after director David Ayer showcased the first trailer at Comic Con. With six grueling months left until this super-villain adaptation hits theaters, it remains to be seen when the third trailer will arrive. In the meantime, check out the latest Suicide Squad poster below, which celebrates Valentine's Day in a truly unique way.
