With the new year rapidly approaching, Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox are getting trailers ready for three of its most anticipated 2016 releases. Both the British Board of Film Classification and Alberta Film Ratings have handed out ratings for the Suicide Squad, X-Men: Apocalypse and Independence Day: Resurgence trailers. Neither studio has announced when these trailers will be released, but since they've been officially rated, we can hopefully expect them to debut very soon.

Last month, producer Simon Kinberg confirmed that the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer will be attached to prints of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, although he wouldn't specify whether or not the footage will debut online at an earlier date. We know that 20th Century Fox will have a presence at the Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil this weekend, with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds teasing his appearance at the con in a viral video that debuted last week. Earlier today, standees for both X-Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool were revealed from the Comic Con Experience convention floor, so it's possible that both the Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse trailers could debut during the 20th Century Fox panel tomorrow.

This is the first we've heard about new Suicide Squad footage. The first trailer debuted this summer, just a few days after it leaked online after debuting at Warner Bros.' San Diego Comic Con panel. As for when the Suicide Squad trailer may debut, there are a few possible options. Warner Bros. has two new movies hitting theaters this month, In the Heart of the Sea on December 11 and Point Break on Christmas Day. It's possible that this footage may debut online before either of those movies hit theaters, but we can't say for sure. Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5, 2016.

As for Independence Day: Resurgence, 20th Century Fox has two new movies debuting this month, Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Road Chip on December 18 and Joy on Christmas Day. Since neither of these movies cater to the same audience as Independence Day: Resurgence, it's entirely possible that trailer may also be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 18, alongside X-Men: Apocalypse. Hopefully we'll find out official details about when all of these trailers will arrive very soon.

Ironically, all three of these movies wrapped production within days of each other in late August, so it isn't terribly surprising that all of these trailers are coming at roughly the same time as well. Which of these three trailers are you most excited for, Suicide Squad, X-Men: Apocalypse or Independence Day: Resurgence? Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more details about when these trailers may arrive.
