If you missed them in theatres then you won't have to wait long, as DVDs for John Q, Storytelling, and The Rookie have been announced today.
John Q (July 16, 2002)
New Line has just announced the specs for their newest Infinifilm release, the Denzel Washington thriller John Q. This disc will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks. The extras will include a filmmaker's commentary, deleted scenes with optional commentary, two making-of docs on the making of the film plus "Beyond the Movie" content, a subtitle factoid track, trailers, and ROM extras including the complete screenplay and weblinks.
Storytelling (July 16, 2002)
Also set for release on July 16th is the controversial film Storytelling. This disc will not be too packed, but will feature both R-Rated and Unrated versions of the film, and will be presented in Anamorphic Widescreen and Fullscreen with English 5.1 and 2.0 Dolby surround tracks, plus the trailer.
The Rookie (August 27, 2002)
On August 27th, Buena Vista is set to release the box office hit The Rookie. This disc will be presented in both Fullscreen and Anamorphic Widescreen versions, each with a 5.1 Dolby Digital surround track, an audio commentary, deleted scenes, the "Inspirational Story of Jim Morris" featurette, "Spring Training" and "Tips from the Professionals" feature, and trailers. If you are one that missed this heartwarming baseball flick, you might be surprised by how much you'll enjoy it...
