Summit Entertainment is developing the body-switch comedy Unexpected for the Life as We Know It writing team of Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson.

The comedy centers on a married couple who learns that they are expecting another child. After an experience with an ancient fertility totem, the couple ends up switching bodies for the entire term of the pregnancy.

No production schedule was given for the project, although this seems to indicate a growing trend of body-switching comedies.

Universal recently wrapped production on The Change-Up, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman as two longtime friends who end up switching bodies. The Change-Up is slated for release on August 5.
