Summit Entertainment is moving forward on the Scott Z. Burns penned thriller The Bitter Pill, which will be Steven Soderbergh's next film as a director.
Steven Soderbergh decided he wanted to make the film after leaving the helm of Warner Bros.'s now floundering The Man from U.N.C.L.E. remake.
The story follows a depressed woman who over-medicates herself out of fear that her husband will soon be released from prison.
Filming will begin in April.
