Something Super is coming to DVD in August!

Alone they are heroes, together they are Super Friends. The World's Greatest Super Heroes combine their forces and create the ultimate weapon against evil in Hannah Barbera's classic animated shorts. Warner Home Video (WHV) and DC Comics bring the action-packed episodes back to life when they release the Super Friends: Legendary Super Powers Show DVD on August 7, 2007 for $26.99. The 2-Disc Collector set features many of the now renowned DC Comics characters, including Superman, Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman.

In an effort to follow a toy trend, Hanna Barbera created the Super Friends animated shorts as a promotional tie-in for Kenner Toys Super Power line. Super Friends: Legendary Super Powers Show originally aired on the ABC Television network in the coveted Saturday morning animation slot and became a fan favorite. The stories feature the very well known voices of Adam West as Batman, and Casey Kasem as Robin. Joining them are Superman and Wonder Woman as well as old and new Super Friends on their adventures. The newest member of the Super Friends team, Firestorm, adds his atomic transmutations powers to the group's combined forces. Firestorm's timely introduction prepares the Super Friends for their fight against the evil villain Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, who is determined to win Wonder Woman as his bride. The 16 action packed 10-minute classic episodes in this 2-Disc Collector Set bring these celebrated DC Super Heroes to life.
