Supercell: The Plot
Supercell is a natural disaster film about storms – tornadoes, hurricanes, and “supercells,” which are storm systems that produce severe thunderstorms and feature high winds, hail, and tornadoes. It follows the story of the teenage son of legendary storm chaser Bill Brody, who runs away from home to chase storms himself. With an exciting premise like that, we can’t wait to see Supercell when it comes to theaters.

Supercell: The Cast
The cast of Supercell is star-studded, to say the least. The lead role of William Brody is played by The Half Of It star Daniel Diemer, with the father, Bill Brody, played by Richard Gunn, and mother, played by Anne Heche, in one of her last film projects before her passing in August 2022. Supercell also features the talents of Alec Baldwin, Skeet Ulrich, and Jordan Kristine Seamon. The cast is full of exciting new and well-known talent, but that’s not all.
Behind the camera, Supercell comes from the directing talent of Herbert James Winterstern, the director, editor, and producer of NBC’s Siberia. Supercell also comes from producer Ryan Smith, best known for his work on The Trial of the Chicago 7. Ryan Winterstern and Nathan Klingher (One Way, Infamous) will also produce.
