Sylvester Stallone has joined the cast of the indie drama Reach Me for Seraphim Films and writer-director John Herzfeld (15 Minutes).

The story centers on a group who connect with a self-help book written by a former football coach. No details were given regarding Sylvester Stallone's role, although the actor recently wrapped production after shooting for several days. The cast also includes Danny Aiello, Omari Hardwick, Nelly, and producer Rebecca Chaney.

The project serves as a reunion for Sylvester Stallone and filmmaker John Herzfeld. Before making his directorial debut with 2 Days In The Valley, John Herzfeld worked as an actor, co-starring in the 1986 action-thriller Cobra with Sylvester Stallone. John Herzfeld most recently directed The Death and Life of Bobby Z in 2007, starring Paul Walker, Laurence Fishburne, and Olivia Wilde.
