Amber Heard and Shiloh Fernandez have been set to star in Syrup, an adaptation of Max Barry's novel.

The story is set in the world of soda marketing, where a young man named Scat, comes up with a new brand of Coke, which gets stolen by his boss, Sneaky Pete. It isn't known what roles Amber Heard and Shiloh Fernandez will play in this adaptation.

Aram Rappaport will direct Syrup from a script he co-wrote with the author, Max Barry.

Production is scheduled to start sometime this summer in New York City.

Amber Heard recently starred in Drive Angry and the NBC pilot Playboy, while Shiloh Fernandez was last seen in Red Riding Hood.
