T3:Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines got off to a quiet start Sunday night on the side streets of Culver City. A tipster who wishes to remain anonymous, wrote me with news that the crew was doing a few scenes involving the female Terminator getting out of a car. Starting small, I guess.

Cusack: The Hollywood Reporter announced that John Cusack has taken the lead in Runaway Jury, based on the John Grisham novel. Will Smith had been circling the project for a while, but has moved on.

Miss Congeniality 2: From the Do We Really Need This? desk, screenwriter Marc Lawrence has been signed to pen the sequel to his $100 million domestic grosser.

Catch Me If You Can: The Spielberg film winds up the L.A. portion of it's shoot in the next few weeks. The crew has been spotted all over L.A. recently. They're easy to spot what with all of the extras in 1960's style clothes. The remainder of the shoot mostly involves Christopher Walken who plays Leonardo's father in the film.

The Matrix: The role of Zee has finally been recast. Nona Gaye (yes, she's related to Marvin), who recently played Muhammed Ali's last wife in the film Ali, will take over the role vacated by Aaliyah when she died tragically in a plane crash. Actress Eva Mendez (Training Day) had been talked about to take on the role as she had previously worked for producer Joel Silver, but word is Nona's rehearsal knocked the Wachowski Brothers out.

Wahlberg: Helmer F. Gary Gray who's long delayed Vin Diesel film Diablo is geting a ton of negative buzz, will next direct The Italian Job. Mark Wahlberg will topline the film which is a remake of the 1969 heist film of the same name which starred Michael Caine. Wahlberg's next release is The Truth About Charlie, a remake of Charade that is directed by Jonathan Demme.
