Oscar-nominated screenwriter Josh Olson (A History of Violence) has been tapped to write Tabloid, which is being eyed as a starring vehicle for The Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger.

Victoria Pearman will also produce alongside Mick Jagger and Steve Bing, whose Shangri-La Entertainment is also financing the picture.

Mick Jagger hasn't appeared in a credited role since The Man from Elysian Fields in 2001, although he had an uncredited role in The Bank Job as a bank employee.
