Taylor Momsen and Jacob Zachar have jumped aboard Danny Peacock's big screen adaptation of the 1980s BBC series Cavegirl. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thora Birch will headline this project, which is set to shoot in South Africa early this year.
Peacock, who is also writing the screenplay, wrote and directed the first two seasons of this hit show. Billed as an action-comedy, the story will revolve around the teenage problems of a young girl living in the Stone Age. Cavegirl will mark Peacock's big screen directorial debut.
The film is set to begin filming this April.
