Are you ready for more love to be bestowed upon the 1980 Flash Gordon in Ted 2? Returning star Mark Wahlberg has tweeted the first image of himself on set, seated on a custom red Indian Scout motorcycle that has been adorned with the semi-iconic 80s Flash Gordon logo.

The original Ted was rife with Flash Gordon jokes and references, with Mark Wahlberg's John Bennett being a huge fan of the seminal sci-fi flop. The running gag culminates with a cameo appearance from that film's leading man Sam J. Jones making a rare big screen appearance. The actor is currently not listed as part of the cast for Ted 2, but looking at John's new ride, a surprise return is certainly not out of the question.
