It is not surprising, following the worldwide success of The Twilight Saga movies among teenage audiences, that vampires and werewolves rose to the top of the list as the most appealing characters to the public during the 2010s. This is why, after the premiere of the franchise inspired by Stephenie Meyer's books, TV and film productions began to explore these themes once again, with many series and movies featuring these popular creatures.

Among the most popular ones was Teen Wolf, a TV series created by Jeff Davis for MTV that was inspired by the 1985 movie of the same name. Starring Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Crystal Reed ,and Tyler Hoechlin, among other actors, Teen Wolf revolved around Scott McCall (Posey), a teenager who, upon being attacked, turns into a werewolf. From then on, Scott is faced with the challenging task of learning to master his newfound violent nature, paying special attention not to reveal his identity, or hurt those in his close circle. Over the course of the series' six seasons, Scott faced several enemies, albeit fortunately with the help of his allies.

Recently, per Variety, Paramount+ announced a Teen Wolf sequel movie and a spin-off entitled Wolf Pack. To the joy of fans, Teen Wolf The Movie will feature most of the original cast. As a matter of fact, only O'Brien has made the decision not to be part of the movie, according to Pop Sugar. Both productions are due for release sometime this year, but no premiere dates have been announced yet. As we wait, let's take a look at some cast members' careers and their recent projects.
